Orbitsuns and Carolyn Striho Band return to Cadieux Cafe !
November 28 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We’re back again Saturday Nov. 28th for. rock and roll holiday show at the Cadieux Cafe in Detroit together! Award-winning artists The Orbitsuns & Carolyn Striho Band !
Formed by Vin Dombroski of Sponge and Jimmy Paluzzi in the late 90s Vin was looking for an outlet to showcase songs that had little too much twang to fit comfortably in the Sponge repertoire. That solution formed Orbitsuns, a band that could fit well in a dive bar, at a house party or on a festival stage and appeal to all–from the hipsters to the fringe. Known for playing long sets to keep the dance floor moving, they are one of the hardest working bands in Detroit, and in the Motor City, that’s saying something!
Blending heavy acoustic/electric rock and roll with lyrics and poetry that make you think, Carolyn Striho and band spin romantic Detroit webs of adventurous melody and electric ladyland soul. From Carolyn’s punk rock days, and then fronting Detroit Energy Asylum, to her relatable, poetic songwriting, expect a passionate avant-garde, baroque folk and roll set from Carolyn, Scott Dailey and their band!
Come join us for a night of spirited songs, great food and drinks at the legendary Cadieux Cafe ! $15 https://www.facebook.com/events/1699635178250416
