August 2022

We just had a whirlwind of exciting shows in Detroit and northern Michigan. Thanks for so many great memories and super stages. Thanks to Don Was, Ismael Ahmed and Ann Delisi and The Detroit Institute of Arts for the Concert of Colors performances we did, and to 20 Front Street in Lake Orio with Erin Zindle and Mary McGuire, Canterbury Village in Lake Orion, WKLT-FM Northern Michigan Traverse City and Terri Ray, as well as The Lark Theater in Cheboygan, Michigan. Wow! And we’re just back from Mackinac Island, where we had performed several times – grateful! My book has been added to more bookstores and also to libraries in Metro Detroit and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In August, we’ll be back in Detroit’s Corktown to play at Brooklyn Street Local on Wednesday evening, August 24th from 6 to 8 pm. for the Corktown Sounds series. We performed in Corktown back in the winter in March, and are back at Brooklyn Street Local on a summer evening. Brooklyn Street Local is at 1266 Michigan Avenue in Detroit. We are performing as a trio that evening and it’s a free admission show. I’ll be on vocals, guitar and keyboards, with Scott Dailey on guitar and vocals and Ron Wolf on percussion.
