Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone who purchased my music, came out to shows and supported me and my great band. 2018’s starting strong with a trip to New York City for the Round Glass Music Awards and some exciting area shows being set up, including Otus Supply in Ferndale, Michigan and 20 Front Street in Lake Orion, Michigan. There’s new songs to record, new video work, and teaching!

I’m happy to be a part of The Grammys 2018 as “Afterthought” was on the First Round Ballot for Best Rock Album! And we received many nominations in the 2017 Detroit Music Awards including Outstanding CD of the Year Rock for “Afterthought.”

We had sweet shows at Arts Beats & Eats, PJ’s Lager House, 20 Front Street, Earthwork Harvest Festival and more. Plus we also had appearances on Michigan radio/TV shows, including Ann Delisi’s Essential Music on NPR-WDET FM Detroit, KLT’s The Garage with Terri Ray on WKLT-FM Traverse City, WHFR-FM Dearborn, Comcast TV Rock900, PBS/WTVS and Fox 2 Detroit TV for the Bands Together Against Cancer late last year. I’ve been honored with airplay as far as New Zealand and the U.K., Ireland and Italy.

We raised more money at The Loving Touch in Ferndale, Michigan with a new show at Bands Together Against Cancer in October, and I had a nice feature in Dedicated Magazine! I was back in Europe-in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia-and even got back to Jamaica. We’ll be performing in England next summer again.

And in November, I signed a new licensing deal with Detroit’s Assemble Sound and am excited to be a part of the Assemble Sound catalog, home to Flint Eastwood, Tunde Olaniran and many great bands.

Please have a very Happy, healthy New Year, grateful to be here with a new kitty cat. Remember, people have the power!

xo love, and thanks again!
