After a great September with several great shows at Michigan festivals, there has been rough news everywhere-hurricanes, earthquake, terrible mass shooting in Las Vegas, Tom Petty passing away. So I’m grateful to help and be a part of Bands Together Against Cancer at The Loving Touch in Ferndale, Michigan, on Saturday night October 21st at 8 pm – we’ll be with Colleen Caffeine and The Whoremones as well as Boudoir Noir, Walk Among Us and Fashion Detroit with Stacey Jaye.

Earlier that day, I’ll also be appearing on NPR Detroit’s WDET-FM 101.9 on Ann Delisi’s Essential Music at 12:30 pm – Tune in for Ann’s incredible show! https://wdet.org/shows/ann-delisis-essential-music/

And please come out and support finding a cure for breast cancer, and all cancers. Proceeds from this show go to St. Johns Hospital’s Van Elslander Cancer Patients Fund. Tickets at http://www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=7455685&pl=lovingtouch

Last year at this time, we released our latest album, “Afterthought”, which has been nominated for many Detroit Music Awards and is receiving great reviews and airplay. I’m quite happy to be back this year with many shows, and hope you can check out “Afterthought” and some of my catalog of music if you haven’t yet. https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/Carolynastriho and  https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/CarolynStriho1

Cancer was the last thing on my mind, but it happened to me 4 years ago – and I’m involved in music love to raise funds for cancer patients. So hey, ho, let’s go October 21st, Saturday night at The Loving Touch in Ferndale, Michigan. We’re going to have a raw power razz of a night with bewitching songs, exhilarating pop and psychedelic soul mingled with the spirit of punky soul.

We’ve got more big updates shortly on some great behind the scenes news xo

love,

Carolyn
