afterthought-front-white-1It’s November here in Detroit and we’re coming to terms with the huge election. But we’ve got the brand new album/CD “Afterthought.” So excited to share it with you!  We had a super CD Release Party and are on our way to working out another European tour for next year. In the meantime, I’ve been honored with a great write up in the Detroit Free Press by Brian McCollum with a First Listen of the track “Love Won’t Stay Close,” and will be appearing on NPR Radio with WDET-FM 101.9 Detroit on Ann Delisi’s Essential Music, Sunday, November 20th. With many requests for the new CD, I’ve been busy mailing! And I had a great time as a guest at the Don Was/Iggy Pop Grammy Foundation show at the Detroit’s Majestic Theatre last month. We also have a brand new date just announced here in Metro Detroit. The show is Friday night, December 2nd at the Stray Cat Lounge, just north of Detroit in Clinton Township. Details over at And we’re celebrating the release of Scott Dailey’s single, “Holiday” – you’ve got to hear it!  Remember that you can buy the CDs right now on, I Tunes and Amazon; it is also available at my upcoming Web Store – to be added here next month – and also, please feel free to write me personally and I will get you a brand new CD. So Small Business Saturday is coming up Thanksgiving weekend -please consider buying a new CD or downloading fresh new music for holiday purchases. I’m back to working on my book -hurray! – which hopes to be ready soon – and some exciting new work for overseas next summer xo.  Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for the support 🙂

“Afterthought” moves through a host of musical moods, from the moodier, darker vibe of the opening title track to exotic gypsy-rock feel of “Russian Inn” to the lively, driving sound of “Love Won’t Stay Close,” which you can hear exclusively for now in this Freep First Spin debut…”    Brian McCollum, Detroit Free Press Music Editor, October, 2016.
