In the near future, we’re performing a short, new acoustic set at the Detroit Music Awards Acoustic Showcase Tuesday night, April 8th at 9:30 pm at Zumba Mexican Grille in Royal Oak, Michigan –the event runs from 6 pm to 11 pm – come on out to support local music and national music from Detroit with magnificent Mexican cuisine, drinks and music at and

We are involved musically in several films – First, Friday night, March 28, 2014 – 8 pm – at the Carr Center in downtown Detroit’s Harmonie Park  -  German Filmmaker Claus Bredenbrock presents Detroit: Motor City Music Friday night, Mar 28, 2014 - The film features many loved Detroit legends including Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Mitch Ryder, Iggy Pop, MC5, Eminem to techno with Derrick May, rock and soul with Mayer Hawthorne and with us -Carolyn Striho Group on my song “Enchante”   Detroit: Motor City Music is featured at the Montreal Film Festival this year and has been shown in France and Germany.  Here is the trailer at  and more info here at!calendar

The second film, “Tough Luck: Stories from Detroit” features our music as the soundtrack, with an appearance in interviews by me (Carolyn)..and that film, based in Detroit, from a terrific Chicago filmmaker, Mary Sommers, will be out sometime in 2015.    In tour news, more shows are being added for our summer tour, coming up… These will be announced soon – several with the infamous Rio & The Rockabilly Revival, amen!
