We’re in the middle of September 2012, and back from a fantastic summer.  Highlights included great shows at the Mackinac Island Music Festival with the Blood Sisters and Audra Kubat – Mission Point Resort Theatre and more jams at the Pink Pony on Mackinac Island.  We also had a stellar stage and huge crowd at the nationally-known Arts Beats & Eats 4 day Festival on Labor Day weekend in Royal Oak, Michigan.  The band wants to thank everyone who came up to Mackinac, to Arts Beats and to our other shows, including Short’s Brewing Company in Elk Rapids/Bellaire area, Como’s in downtown Ferndale and more throughout the summer.  We also began recording several new songs at our studio, and were on the air with Traverse City’s Terri Ray on WKLT/WKLZ, northern Michigan’s music voice to the region, which stretches all the way to Toronto…a great interview with the infamous DJ Terri for “the Garage” – what a hot one!

Into the fall, we’re working on the new album,  new dates and new video to be added shortly.  While not a “break”, we have new songs that simply must make it to CD and album.  We’re also pouring through so many photos from the shows that need to be added and updated to the website.  And we may release a Carolyn retrospective of many songs from the Detroit Energy Asylum days forward – this is quite an undertaking.  With working on a book and a Europe tour for later, we are pausing to make sure the music gets heard.  And some quite neat wedding photos get posted, too…(shhh..surprise!)

Thanks again for enjoying the music – much more is coming up….   Remember -   ” To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”
